Our journey through Masonry takes us on many journeys and we rarely see the impacts we make along the way. Tonight, I was struck with a little nostalgia as I sat in my home Lodge in Ohio with a few special Brothers; Siddhartha Saran and Josh Beasley.
As Worshipful Master of Madison Lodge No. 221 in 2012, I presided over the Entered Apprentice Degree of Siddhartha Saran; and tonight he presided over his first Degree as Worshipful Master. I remember his degree very vividly, as his father had traveled all the way from India to be there for his son as he took his first step in Masonry. I remember how proud his father was and how much the night meant to them and the rest of us present for the occasion.
As Worshipful Master, I also had the pleasure of raising W.:B.: Josh Beasley to the sublime degree of Master Mason as my inspection candidate in 2012, and tonight he delivered an impressive Entered Apprentice Lecture. W.:B.: Beasley has done so much for the Lodge over the years and continues to be a big part of the Education Committee of the Grand Lodge of F&AM of Ohio and a vital part of the Royal Scofield Society’s success over the years.
To say that I am proud of these two is an understatement; I am so honored to witness what these great upstanding Masons have become! Keep up the great work Brothers!
